Jura Giant: Mont Tendre (and Risel)
Mont Tendre is the highest point in the Jura mountains at 1,679 metres. It's another of those great, steep, deserted Jura roads climbing through the woods - with Alps views at the top.

Col de la Joux Verte Col de Bassachaux
The plan was to cycle up Col de la Joux Verte. I knew the road was still closed, but it's been so warm we thought with mountain bikes that we'd be OK.

Col des Glieres - West Side
That funny white thing with wings is a giant monument to the French Resistance. Glieres was a major base in WW2 for the Maquis.

Col des Prés
Pré means meadow in French - so Col des Prés clumsily translated means "mountain pass of the meadows."
